To Joe's family,
My father was Jim Zimmer who worked at the Westinghouse with Joe. They were buddies for years. And after retirement several of the retired guys gathered for breakfast once a month.
My Dad died in 2010. And Joe and another one of their buddies came to my dad's viewing. We were so touched that they made the trip to give us their sweet condolences. It meant so very much to us.
After my Dad passed, my mother and I went to have breakfast with Joe a few times. We thought so much of your Dad! I grew up hearing Joe's name as my Dad had a great respect for him.
Please accept our condolences at the loss of your father and grandfather. I know he will be greatly missed by you all. I am sure that Joe and my dad are being reunited in heaven and rejoicing together.
God Bless your family. We will be praying for you as you mourn his passing.

Thank you for the kind words and memories of those breakfasts. I had the opportunity to be invited into that awesome group of hard working men. I have a picture that I am going to send to your mothers address.

Dear Leo, Joe, and Vici, Our heart goes out to you as you lay your dear father to rest. Uncle Joe survived many trials and tribulations. His strength will always be an inspiration. In the spring, let us take a bottle of his favorite Riunite to him so that he can share it with Stella in heaven.

Uncle Joe will be greatly missed. He was my favorite Uncle, always ready for some fun teasing and in high spirits. My heart goes out to my dear Cousins Leo, Joe and Vicki. May "studa jud" rest is peace.
