Carolyn DePietro

YOUNGSTOWN- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday April 27, 2017 at St. Angela Merici Parish, formerly known as Sacred Heart Church celebrated by Rev. Kevin Peters, for Carolyn DePietro, 65, who died unexpectedly on Thursday April 13, 2017 at her home.

Carolyn was born on February 5, 1952 on Youngstown’s Eastside to Frederick and Margaret (Verdram) DePietro.  She was a graduate of East High School and had worked for many years as a caterer.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children Walter M. Mootz of Struthers, Fredrick A. Mootz of Boardman, and Nicole C. Walton of Struthers; her three grandchildren Gavin M. Dill, Paige C. Dill, and Allen M. Carter; her sister Toni DePietro of Youngstown.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Margaret and by her sister Judith M Dorante.

Friends may call from 10:30 until 10:55 at the church prior to the Mass.

Arrangements are under the care of the Sample-O’Donnell Funeral Home in Sharon, PA.
