Linda H. Cagno

SHARPSVILLE- Linda H. Cagno, 75, of Farrell passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening February 11, 2025 in UPMC Presbyterian surrounded by her family.

She was born in Sharon on May 24, 1949 a daughter of Timothy and Margaret (Robison) Horan and was a graduate of Sharon High School. Linda was an alumnus of Penn State Shenango and had worked as a secretary for Sharon Tube and Wheatland Tube prior to her retirement.

Linda was a fiery redhead and everyone who met her remembered her. She worked for decades at Wheatland Tube until retirement freed her to do the things she truly loved. She traveled around riding roller coasters. She spent hours upon hours crocheting blankets and probably just as much time pulling it apart to find the missing stitch. She enjoyed collecting material as much as she did actually sewing. She enjoyed sharing her crafting skills with various groups at Notre Dame. She spent day and night in her garden and could be caught pulling weeds when visiting her family. She loved her family, but we suspect she loved her cat, Pipur, a little more.

She leaves behind her children Melinda “Mindy” Millison and Christina Zaremba; her grandchildren Leanna Gosser, Makayla (Cody) Mott, Matthew Gosser, Lydell Jordan, Devaun Jordan, Layla Jordan, and Morgan Pierce; and her sister Timothea (Jim) Pantall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mary Werthman and Sally Addicott, and by her daughter’s fiancé Jay Pierce.

A memorial service in Linda’s honor will be held at Noon on Saturday May 24, 2025 in the Sample-O'Donnell Funeral Home at 555 East State Street in Sharon, PA. Friends may visit with her family beginning at 11:30AM prior to the start of the service.

Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
