Meagen M. Deitz

July 12, 1988 — July 21, 2025

Transfer, PA

Transfer- Meagen M. Deitz, of Transfer, passed away unexpectedly in the evening of Monday July 21, 2025. She was thirty-seven years old.

She was born in Sharon on July 12, 1988 to John J. and Zena L. (White) Deitz. She attended and graduated from West Middlesex High School in 2006.

Meagen appeared shy and quiet to those who didn’t know her well, but she was quite the opposite to everyone fortunate enough to be a part of her inner-circle. Her quirky, silly personality kept smiles on our faces, and often kept us guessing about what to expect next. Meagen’s strong will and free spirit led her down many paths, at times optimistic, and other times very difficult. Regardless of the path Meagen found herself on and barriers she faced, one thing never waivered: the love she had for her four children, her nieces, and nephews. She was affectionately referred to as the favorite “Aunt Mea-Mea”. Meagen ensured her children had what they needed, even if she was going without necessities for herself. Meagen constantly leaned on her mom for advice and support, she appreciated the many times her dad was there to help her and the children in difficult times, and her sister Jennifer was her closest friend. Meagen was, without a doubt, a fighter - always planning to be better and do better for her children and her family. She will forever be remembered for her beauty, intelligence, and perseverance, all of which will continue to be seen through her children.

She leaves behind to always cherish her memory, parents John Deitz of East Brady, PA and Zena Deitz of Greenville, PA; her children Jayla, Kaylee, Gia, and Azon; siblings Jennifer Deitz and Johnny Deitz of New Bethlehem, PA; grandparents Daniel and Nancy Hess; and her aunts and uncles Tina Marcacci, Corina (Robert) Zikmund, Toni (Robert) Raseta, Nancy Williams, Mary Deitz, Bob (Beth) Deitz, Dan Hess, Tracy Hess, Robin Spouse, Frank Hess, Jamie Lee Hess, Jim Mortimer, and Hedi Young; her nieces and nephews Austin, Kyanne, Caden, Jordan, Ma’Nya, Resean, and Rhian; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Johnna Deitz, her grandparents Leo and Edith White and Clarence and Vick Deitz, her aunts Cindy Lou Houfek and Rebecca “Becky” White, and her cousins Bobby and Michael Deitz.
