Nathan O. Marshall

SHARON-Nathan O. Marshall of Sharon, PA passed away peacefully on Wed., December 31, 2025, at 7:06 pm after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was 71.

Nathan was the second son born to the union of Emmanuel and Betty Marshall on October 21, 1954. He is survived by his mother, Betty Marshall, Farrell, PA; his children Heidi (James) Drummond, Laurel, MS; Ean M. (Toni) Weidner, New Castle, PA; Tina M. Norris, Farrell, PA; Nathan O. Hill, Tujunga, CA; and Jason A. (CaLette) Marshall, Farrell, PA; siblings, Benita J. Harris (Bo), Rock Hill, SC; Emmanuel B. Marshall, Jr.,Harrisburg, PA; Michael S. Marshall, Sr., Farrell, PA; Elthea Marshall, Dallas, TX; Elaina Marshall Ivery, Warren, OH; and Erica I. Holt, Dallas, TX; 28 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emmanuel B. Marshall, Sr.

After serving in the U.S. Marine Corp, Mr. Marshall worked in the construction industry, owned and operated Marshall’s Landscaping Service, and for many years, until his health declined, managed his own salvage business (2nd generation owner).

Nathan was a multi-sport phenom. He played baseball, basketball, and football. However, football was his #1 love. He was called the “Sophomore Sensation” in high school and went on to play with the Youngstown Hardhats Semi-Pro Football Team. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. Nathan also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a fierce and loyal supporter of his family and friends. He will forever be known for his many unique Nathanisms, like “you know what I mean”, “and such and such”.

Nathan will be heartfully missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service in his honor will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM, at Friendship Baptist Church 339 Spearman Avenue, Farrell, Pennsylvania 16121, where family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00-11:00 AM.
