Elizabeth "Pat" Bonanno

NILES-Elizabeth “Pat” Bonanno, 96, passed away on Friday March 17, 2023 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland after a short illness. She wished to go home to God on her birthday and passed at 6:30AM.

Pat was born on March 17th, 1927 to Louis and Louise (Mordente) Cervone and attended Niles City Schools.

She volunteered at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles and was a caregiver and homemaker to her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles for many years.

Pat love to bake and she was famous for her “Aunt Pat’s Christmas Snow Balls” which were loved by all.  She especially had fond memories of times with her family and her pride and joy Tyler and his son Cyress, the fifth generation.

She married Thomas Anerino on May 10th, 1947 and he preceded her in death.

Pat leaves behind her son Gregory Anerino and his wife Barbara of Sanibel, FL, daughter Lynda Roberts of Howland, son-in-law James Klonowski, grandson Richard L. Roberts, great-grandchildren Tori Marie Robert, Tyler James Roberts, Edith Hawkins, and Cyress Roberts. She is also survived by her former husband Joseph J. Bonanno whom she married at Fort Myers Beach in Florida in October of 1984.

She was preceded in death by her brother Pete Cervone and his wife Helen, sister Antoinette “Toni” Landolfi and her husband Gregory, sister Rose Sarno and her husband Dominic.

Per Pat’s request there are no calling hours or services, and internment will take place at Niles City Cemetery.

The family requests that material contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.
