To Mr Winger's family:
I used to cut Mr Wingers lawn on Buhl near the park and learned of his community service and the man he was through that time and especially at the Buhl Club. Being a lifelong member of the Club and a handball player like Mr Winger ( although I heard he was probably much better than me) I learned just how important a figure he was to our community and especially the Club. His commitment and financial support mean more today than you will ever know and we thank him and his family for his lifelong partnership to the Club. I especially appreciate knowing him and his "mentoring" as I learned through him how doing things the right way all the time still stick with me today as an adult.
I am sorry I could not attend Mr Wingers service, as I was out of town but wanted to pass on my condolences to all of his family and friends. He is another big figure our community has lost. And a good friend to all who knew him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was an amazing man. My mother worked for him at National Castings as well as was his Secretary for years (Loretta McNamara). Both of your parents were very kind and caring people. I know how much my mother enjoyed working for your father. He treated her as though she was family. He even came to the funeral home when my mother died in 2007. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Again, he truly was an amazing, wonderful, kind and caring man and his mark on this world will not be forgotten.
